Renaissance Apparels Ltd. is a legally registered private company which started its operations in 2006 in the location C.S Plot -659 & 660, Mouza – 93, islampur, Thana – Gazipur, District -Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The company engaged in the manufacturing of ready-made garments (Knit Items). The main production processes are listed as follows Procurement > Inventory > Cutting > Sewing > Finishing > Packing > Export. Total production capacity of the factory is 3,50,000 pieces garments per month. There are total 691 employees works in a general shift (8.00 am to 5.00 pm). Out of the total employees 359 are the female employees. The factory comprises of total 44,000 sq. feet production areas. The factory building construction quality was found be good as there was no visible defects identified during the audit. The factory building is made out of R.C.C (reinforced concrete cement) and the structural plan was approved by the local authority as well as by the directorate of Industry & establishment.

Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) is an independent, global non-profit organization dedicated to the certification of facilities engaged in lawful, humane and ethical production and its Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia-USA. The WRAP Certification Program is based on 12 Principles focusing on local law and workplace regulations, generally accepted international workplace standards, and the environment. WRAP also includes evaluation of a facility’s customs compliance and security standards in line with the Customs – Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Foreign Manufacturers Security Criteria of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for facilities exporting to the US.
